She felt her sister Faye—the mother who’d just been killed— and heard her voice say, “Barbara, let me tell you something.”
That spark became the first version of “Let Me Tell You Something,” a song of loss, love, and the hope of reunion.
Twelve years ago, Barbara’s son—songwriter and author Pan— reshaped the song, keeping its raw truth while bringing new depth to the storytelling. Now, 35 years after that terrible day, they have produced the final version — a moving country ballad that carries the full weight of the story while offering comfort to anyone who has loved and lost.
